“Oktoberfest is best experienced in Germany.” Hell yeah! I experienced the real deal a few years back. Legal drinking age is 16 for beer, 18 for the hard stuff. Never in my life have I seen such an elaborate setup, such colorful clothing, or as many people puking in all of my life in one place, at one time. Fun fact: that giant glass of beer is called a “Maß” (pron. mahs) and is equal to a pint of “Deutsches Bier”.
